Any venue with an interest in engaging and educating its patrons, visitors, or members may inquire. Museums, schools, professional organizations, civic groups, academic gatherings, or businesses may benefit from this uniquely human and creative enterprise. Performances can be crafted to suit audiences based on interest, age, and setting. The interactive “public lectures” recreate the spirit of the scientific society meetings of the Enlightenment Era and include props and demonstration apparatus from Mr. Howarth’s large collection of replica instruments and specimens. Dean also collaborates with a talented group of experienced interpreters to provide convivial group presentations of various forms.

Mr. Howarth does character narratives based on a very large number of characters from the 16th to 20th centuries (See ROLES above.) so there is a great deal of thematic possibilities! Dean enjoys brainstorming with clients to create the perfect educational entertainment for the patrons. Idea-sharing is most welcomed!

If your institution or organization is interested in booking one of Mr. Howarth’s scientific characters, or for more information, please use the CONTACT tab above.

Fees and parameters of given performances are determined on a case by case basis. Distance and expense of travel, size and nature of audience, venue, and depth and duration of performance are all factors that are discussed during initial consultation.

Clients can be provided with printable descriptors of the each of the various narratives referenced in ROLES.

VIRTUAL PERFORMANCES : Mr. Howarth also performs in character on platforms such as ZOOM. This is convenient for assemblages of people who cannot easily meet en mass. Virtual meetings can be held for students in home-school scenarios or groups otherwise separated by distance.
